Our 2016-2017 school year has started off with a blast, scheduling a total of 40 groups within 15 schools, in seven school districts. Schools love B.A.B.E.S., children loves B.A.B.E.S. and I love presenting B.A.B.E.S. With the help of seven very relatable, loveable puppets, B.A.B.E.S. teaches helpful, factual drug awareness in a very fun and age level appropriate manner.
I have been blessed to be part of the ongoing B.A.B.E.S. presentations as part of the Prevention and Education Department with Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems, for the past 18 years. I started as a “B.A.B.E.S. Buddy” and progressed through to my present busy 5-day a week presentation schedule. B.A.B.E.S. has always been a caring, factual and encouraging vehicle to implement great Drug (and Alcohol) information education, to the very youngest within our community.
