Since the school start in Sept. 2015 through March 4th 2016 we have completed a total of 23 groups. We still have another 12 groups already scheduled for the Spring B.A.B.E.S. calendar, to be completed By mid-May.
The B.A.B.E.S program has been so well-received and requested in our Delaware County Schools that I have had to establish a “waiting list” for schools who ask to be placed on our presentation scheduled for the following school year.
As you all know, The B.A.B.E.S. program provides perfect prevention education and information, that we hope will affect the children’s thoughts and decisions through-out their lives.
Our Country, and more personally Delaware County, is sadly experiencing an opiate epidemic, often combining alcohol misuse, adding to an already deadly situation. Sharing B.A.B.E.S. gives us a foothold for our children, as they grow and learn through their life’s experiences. Of all the “new prevention programing” that have come along through the years, there is no other that has stood the test of time and is as effective still today, as it was at the time of development , 40years ago. Now That’s awesome!
