The BABES Club has finally completed their recent journey to Malta, to join with our long-time presenter Ms. Elizabeth Scerri at The Foundation for Social Welfare Services, a BABES Family Member for over 15 years. The request for their appearance began on March 15, 2017 and was finally completed three months later. The first challenge was to convert UDI Chips to US currency, which Myth Mary said that “the lady down the street said it couldn’t be done.” But, Honk! Honk! replied Early Bird “People who give up easily, may find themselves changing jobs frequently”.
After the five weeks needed to make the financial exchange, two sets of BABES puppets were on their way! As you can see, it was a long journey, but Donovan Dignity kept everyone calm, by reminding them that “Traveling long distances is as easy as 1-2-3”.
BABESWORLD Home was amazed to discover, almost a month later, that the puppets had not yet arrived. As it turns out, they were held at Malta Customs for not having an inspection tag, required for all European Imports. Buttons and Bows didn’t know what to do, they were held in “Custom’s Jail” for over 2 weeks, but Recovering Reggie told them that “he had been there, done that and that everything would be just fine.”
Fortunately, the folks at BABESWORLD Home worked with the manufacturer to submit the list of materials to the authorities and the puppets were set free to join Ms. Scerri and the children of Malta!
