On Monday, January 2, 2015 the Principal and Assistant Principal from Jerry L White along with many RHS students attended an informational meeting about the BABES characters and stories. The response to the informational meeting by RHS students and Jerry L White administrators was very positive. So much so, that the RHS students and administrators are looking forward to the next step: RHS students will present BABES stories to Jerry L White students in the Spring of 2016.
On Saturday, November 7, 2015 RHS students met at First Congregational Church of Detroit (FCCD). FCCD is nationally recognized as a historic building with a Living Museum in the form of an underground railroad re-enactment. RHS students gained additional perspectives of BABES characters in the context of BABES Aboard the Underground Railroad.
